Welcome to the Department of Emergency Medicine at AUBMC!

With a team of nationally and internationally recognized Emergency Medicine faculty all Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, our department is bringing cutting edge emergency medicine to Lebanon, from the latest evidence-based clinical practice to leading EM education and burgeoning locally relevant research.

Our department offers round the clock attending level care and unique services that include a Poison Center covered by medical toxicologists. These services, in addition to our focus on building processes that bring the best in evidence-based emergency care to the bedside allow us to deliver timely, lifesaving therapies to over 53,000 cases annually.
