Life Support Training Center

 

Overview and Scope of Services

In 2006, AUBMC established the first International Training Organization authorized the American Heart Association in Lebanon. This center provides courses that include Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. These courses are offered on regular basis to nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers at AUBMC, Lebanon, and the region. A Heart Saver Automated External Defibrillator course is also available for the non-medical members of the community. All attendees of the life support courses receive an American Heart Association e-card upon completion of any course.
 

Year 2020 represents another milestone for this center where it was authorized again by the American Heart Association with a score of 100% compliance with all the requirements.
 

Resources

The Life Support Training Center is supported by the nurse leader for research, education, and innovation, life support nurse coordinator, Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support instructors.
